“Uh, Reid Hillview Tower, this is… uh…”
Sound like a pro
on the radio.
Practice real ATC calls with a controller that talks back.
You talk, the controller answers, and every call is graded on the spot. Get the radio down before your first solo.
Mic fright is real.
Many student pilots dread the radio more than the flying. Controllers talk fast, everyone hears your mistakes, so you freeze and let your instructor talk. The fix is reps: the same calls over and over, with nobody listening, until they come out on their own.
If you can draw it, you understood it.
Hear a random clearance at a real airport, then draw the route on the field with your finger. It's graded against the actual taxiway geometry.
Every call is graded element by element. Your words and the model call, side by side.
AI controllers with real cadence, at the speed you choose. Not a phone voice with static on top.
This part is a conversation. You key the mic and make the call, the AI controller answers you, and the airplane flies what you said. Every transmission is graded on the spot.
From the alphabet to IFR clearances.
It starts at “Alfa” and ends with “cleared as filed.” Eleven units, 144 lessons: the alphabet, ATIS and METAR, taxi, tower and pattern work, departures and airspace, flight following, arrivals, emergencies, holding patterns, and IFR arrival clearances. Every drill runs on real US airport diagrams and frequencies, and your home field is almost certainly in there.
